There is so much to do and see like their National monuments and buildings. There are very many popular tourists sites including the Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower (la Tour Eiffel) ranks high on the list of places to visit in France. The Eiffel tower was originally built for the world fair in 1889. It was supposed to be taken down once the world fair ended, but was kept up for being such a popular site to see.

The Place de la Concorde Is another Popular tourist site. Created between 1755 and 1775 by the architect of King Louis XV, this impressive octagonal square is at the heart of 18th-century Paris. Before the obelisk in the middle of the Square was put there that was where the guillotine was placed when the Ruler of France at that time needed to chop someones head off.

Musée du Louvre is a very famous Art Museum with a glass Pyramid in the center of it. The large Palace in the back was built for the Ruler of France at that time. The Museum how ever has European paintings of the 15th to 19th centuries. The Louvre is impossible to see it all in one visit just because of how gigantic it is. Like I was saying before The Museum is filled with so much art work, the most famous piece is the Mona Lisa or La Gioconda.
